Picaboo Studio was built on the idea that strong visuals don’t happen by accident — they’re designed.
We are a creative photography studio specialising in family, pet, personal branding and event photography, with a strong focus on connection, storytelling and visual consistency. Every session is approached with both an emotional and a visual lens — considering light, colour, composition and flow, just like a well-designed layout.
What began as Picaboo Pictures has grown into Picaboo Studio — a name that better reflects our evolution into a multi-disciplinary creative space. While photography remains at our core, our work is deeply influenced by graphic design principles: balance, negative space, rhythm and storytelling across a series, not just a single frame.
We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all sessions. Instead, we take time to understand who you are, what you’re building and how you want your images to live — on your walls, your website, your social media or in print.

About Pomme
Founder and Creative Lead
Pomme is the founder and creative lead behind Picaboo Studio.
She holds a degree in photography and brings over 10 years of industry experience, having worked across commercial, branding and lifestyle photography with leading New Zealand brands such as Walker & Hall, My Food Bag and Omrub.
Her creative approach blends strong technical knowledge with a thoughtful eye for visual storytelling — paying close attention to composition, colour and how images work together as a series. Pomme is known for creating a calm, supportive environment where people feel at ease, allowing genuine moments to unfold naturally in front of the camera.
As Picaboo Studio continues to grow, Pomme leads the studio’s creative direction, ensuring every project — from intimate family sessions to large-scale brand shoots — is crafted with consistency, intention and care.
