Maternity photography is about more than documenting a growing bump — it’s about celebrating connection, anticipation and the quiet strength of this season of life. At Picaboo Pictures, maternity photoshoots are relaxed, gentle and guided with care. Whether you choose a studio session, an outdoor location, or an in-home lifestyle shoot, your session is designed to feel comfortable, unhurried and true to you. Maternity sessions can take place: In our studio for timeless, minimal portraits On location at Auckland beaches, parks or natural spaces In your own home for a lifestyle session that reflects everyday life Partners, children and pets are always welcome to be part of your maternity session. Each shoot is approached in a calm, supportive way, with gentle direction and plenty of space to move, rest and connect. No modelling experience is needed — guidance is provided throughout, with a focus on natural interaction rather than stiff posing. Your comfort and wellbeing are always prioritised. Maternity photography sessions are best scheduled between 28–36 weeks, when your bump is beautifully visible and you’re still feeling comfortable enough to move with ease. Picaboo Pictures is an Auckland-based family photographer specialising in family, maternity and lifestyle photography. Sessions follow our family photography pricing packages and include beautifully edited images delivered in a private online gallery. This chapter is fleeting — maternity photography allows you to pause, reflect and remember it just as it was.
Cancellation Policy
PICABOO PICTURES – BOOKING POLICY By booking a photography session with Picaboo Pictures, you agree to the following booking policy, which applies to all services, including family, pet, newborn, maternity, engagement, cake smash, milestone, and other portrait sessions, both in-studio and on location. BOOKINGS & PAYMENT • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking • Your session is not confirmed until the deposit is received • The remaining balance is due on or before your session date WEATHER (LOCATION SESSIONS) • Picaboo Pictures cannot take equipment out in rain or unsafe weather • Sessions will not be rescheduled for cloudy days or weather preferences • Weather-related rescheduling decisions are made only by Picaboo Pictures • If required, Picaboo Pictures will contact you up to 1 hour before your session to reschedule • If you choose not to attend when weather is deemed suitable, standard cancellation terms apply CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING • Deposits are non-refundable • One reschedule is permitted with 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability • Late cancellations, no-shows, or arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in loss of the session without refund SESSION DETAILS • Late arrival reduces your session time • Sessions will not be extended • Children and pets remain the responsibility of the client at all times • Outdoor sessions are conducted at your own risk IMAGES & DELIVERY • Image selection and editing style remain at the photographer’s discretion • Unedited/RAW images are not supplied • Images are delivered via an online gallery • Images are for personal use only COPYRIGHT & IMAGE USE • All images remain the copyright of Picaboo Pictures • Images may be used for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes • Opt-out requests must be made in writing before the session By booking and attending your session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this booking policy.
