Picaboo Pictures offers 15-minute milestone photoshoots in our Auckland studio, designed for parents who want professional, timeless portraits without the commitment of a full session. These short sessions are perfect for capturing key stages of childhood — from sitting babies and first smiles to confident toddlers and growing personalities. Milestone sessions take place on a clean white background with minimal styling to keep the focus entirely on your child. A small child-sized chair may be used, and you’re welcome to bring one favourite comfort item or stuffed toy if it helps your child feel at ease. Simple, neutral outfits photograph beautifully and ensure the images remain timeless. Sessions are gently guided and child-led, allowing space for natural expressions, curiosity and personality to shine through. Parents are encouraged to stay close to support and comfort their child as needed. Milestone photography is ideal for parents who want: Updated professional portraits Clean, consistent imagery for albums, frames or gifts A quick, relaxed experience that fits into busy family life These sessions are best suited for children who can sit independently, but milestone shoots can be adapted for a wide range of ages. Picaboo Pictures is an Auckland-based family photographer specialising in family, baby and milestone photography. Milestone sessions follow our studio pricing packages and include professionally edited images delivered in a private online gallery. Sometimes the simplest moments are the ones you’ll treasure the most.
Cancellation Policy
PICABOO PICTURES – BOOKING POLICY By booking a photography session with Picaboo Pictures, you agree to the following booking policy, which applies to all services, including family, pet, newborn, maternity, engagement, cake smash, milestone, and other portrait sessions, both in-studio and on location. BOOKINGS & PAYMENT • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking • Your session is not confirmed until the deposit is received • The remaining balance is due on or before your session date WEATHER (LOCATION SESSIONS) • Picaboo Pictures cannot take equipment out in rain or unsafe weather • Sessions will not be rescheduled for cloudy days or weather preferences • Weather-related rescheduling decisions are made only by Picaboo Pictures • If required, Picaboo Pictures will contact you up to 1 hour before your session to reschedule • If you choose not to attend when weather is deemed suitable, standard cancellation terms apply CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING • Deposits are non-refundable • One reschedule is permitted with 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability • Late cancellations, no-shows, or arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in loss of the session without refund SESSION DETAILS • Late arrival reduces your session time • Sessions will not be extended • Children and pets remain the responsibility of the client at all times • Outdoor sessions are conducted at your own risk IMAGES & DELIVERY • Image selection and editing style remain at the photographer’s discretion • Unedited/RAW images are not supplied • Images are delivered via an online gallery • Images are for personal use only COPYRIGHT & IMAGE USE • All images remain the copyright of Picaboo Pictures • Images may be used for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes • Opt-out requests must be made in writing before the session By booking and attending your session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this booking policy.
