At Picaboo Pictures, our pet photography sessions are designed to capture your pet exactly as they are, whether that’s playful and energetic, calm and cuddly, or proudly independent. Based in Auckland, we offer professional pet photography sessions in studio, on location, or in your own home, allowing you to choose the environment where your pet feels most comfortable. These sessions are relaxed, pet-led and focused on connection — no forced poses, just genuine moments. Studio pet photography is perfect for clean, timeless portraits with minimal distractions. Our studio setup works beautifully for calm pets who are comfortable indoors and on lead. Location pet photography allows space for movement and play, ideal for dogs who love exploring beaches, parks or bush walks. In-home lifestyle sessions are perfect for pets who feel safest at home, capturing everyday moments like couch cuddles, backyard play or quiet companionship. Sessions can include pets alone or together with their humans. Whether you’re after wall art, updated portraits, or meaningful images that reflect your bond, we tailor each session to your pet’s personality and needs. Safety and wellbeing always come first. Sessions are gently guided, with plenty of breaks and flexibility to suit your pet’s comfort level. Owners are encouraged to stay close and assist throughout the session. Picaboo Pictures is an Auckland-based family and pet photographer specialising in natural, emotive imagery. Pet photography sessions follow our standard pricing packages and include professionally edited images delivered via a private online gallery. Because their time with us is never long enough — but the memories can last forever.
Cancellation Policy
PICABOO PICTURES – BOOKING POLICY By booking a photography session with Picaboo Pictures, you agree to the following booking policy, which applies to all services, including family, pet, newborn, maternity, engagement, cake smash, milestone, and other portrait sessions, both in-studio and on location. BOOKINGS & PAYMENT • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking • Your session is not confirmed until the deposit is received • The remaining balance is due on or before your session date WEATHER (LOCATION SESSIONS) • Picaboo Pictures cannot take equipment out in rain or unsafe weather • Sessions will not be rescheduled for cloudy days or weather preferences • Weather-related rescheduling decisions are made only by Picaboo Pictures • If required, Picaboo Pictures will contact you up to 1 hour before your session to reschedule • If you choose not to attend when weather is deemed suitable, standard cancellation terms apply CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING • Deposits are non-refundable • One reschedule is permitted with 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability • Late cancellations, no-shows, or arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in loss of the session without refund SESSION DETAILS • Late arrival reduces your session time • Sessions will not be extended • Children and pets remain the responsibility of the client at all times • Outdoor sessions are conducted at your own risk IMAGES & DELIVERY • Image selection and editing style remain at the photographer’s discretion • Unedited/RAW images are not supplied • Images are delivered via an online gallery • Images are for personal use only COPYRIGHT & IMAGE USE • All images remain the copyright of Picaboo Pictures • Images may be used for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes • Opt-out requests must be made in writing before the session By booking and attending your session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this booking policy.
